Enlightenment is not the end of life’s challenges

A lot of Isira’s talks are about dispelling the myths that we can carry about enlightenment - that it is ‘over there’ and consists of a golden halo of permanent bliss and tranquility. In this interaction, she acknowledges that enlightenment does not see the end of life’s challenges, of pain, of flux. Instead, ‘enlightenment’ is the complete and utter acceptance of all of life - the challenges, the pain, the flux - exactly as it is.
