Meditation is more a state of awareness than an actual activity. However, those who have mastered the state of meditation have come to know and understand what modes of conduct are most conducive to create stillness in the mind in which the experience of true meditation can then be born.
There are many methods of meditation that have been taught over the course of many thousands of years. Naturally this can sometimes cause a seeker to feel rather confused as to which path to follow.
For this reason it is important to understand some of the dynamics that give rise to meditation and also to have an insight as to what the qualities of meditation are.
However, like the rest of life, we don’t necessarily find all the answers straight away, yet we do start to find answers the very moment we start looking. In short it is most often a matter of trial and adventure that leads us to discover what methods work best for us as an individual. Naturally because we are unique, what can work for one person doesn’t necessarily work for the next. It is for this reason that Isira imparts a wide range of techniques that are applicable to the variety of conditions that obstruct the return to the deep inner awareness of meditation in the first place.

The Presence Meditation
This is the core practical teaching that Isira delivers. It establishes the most foundational practice for attaining a living state of our true Presence. This method is potent and deeply integrating, providing us with a way to sustain meditative awareness in our every day living.
Breathing Meditation
Simple techniques using the breath in varying patterns and methods assists a state of relaxation, stress relief and quieting of the mind.
Energy Meditation
Assists a re-attunement to the subtle energies, helps to connect to the life force, expand awareness, develop unity awareness and awaken the intuition.
Light Meditation

Pranayama Meditation
'Prana' is the breath/life energy and 'yama' means force or to direct. Correctly used these techniques are very powerful and effective in clearing disturbances or blocks emotionally, mentally and physically.

Cultivates a deep alertness of presence and non-attachment to dissolve the false perceptions of the dualistic mind within the Now awareness.
