Seva is an opportunity for us to give in a meaningful and fulfilling way.
Seva is an act of unconditional love. It is about us putting that love into action for the benefit of others and making an impact that will touch others beyond our own life.
It means our own personal quest for greater love, happiness and freedom can become a transpersonal gift.
We become a powerful and integral source of energy and action to give to a greater cause – love for all people and all things.

It means we think outside our own circle and give back to the circle of life.
Everything that moves me – that gives me the greatest joy and fulfillment – is the capacity to give for the benefit of others. The moments that have given me my greatest sense of fulfillment, contentment, joy and purpose are these moments – when my actions are given without a need for any return – but simply for others to receive something of worth in their own life. Seeing another’s spirit light up is worth more than anything I could ever receive. This is what makes me rich, my life fulfilling. And it is these things that give me the wings of true happiness.

There is a lot that goes into creating the space and the vehicle to give people a deeper experience of meaning. The hours of computer work, filing, managing people and data, phone calls, writing, meetings, etc are all part of the creation. And all of these actions are seva. All of these actions are integral to the gift. That’s why even the most mundane activities can become actions of greater meaning and joy. When there is a greater cause behind each action even the most mundane act can be filled with joy and purpose. Then everything we do is filled with meaning and our life is lifted up to a greater level of happiness and fulfilment.
